i can't seem to escape this feeling, more lately than ever, that something is passing me by. the more time and energy i try to invest in going to school or landing a stable job the more i can't turn off the voice in my head that tells me i am wasting my time and should be painting...
at the same time, i barely take pictures of any recent work to share with anyone so there is no possibility of anything becoming of my work this way. i can't seem to handle finishing a piece before i start six new ones, much less trying to figure out how to land new commissions or put together a proper portfolio...
maybe this is just a hobby after all.

I'm not saying digital work isn't art. What I'm saying is that digital art vs. traditional art is essentially the same difference as fast food vs. a home-cooked meal. I love them both, but one is just more substantial and the other is quick and readily available.
